Two in hospital after van crashes into pensioners outside Aberdeen pizza takeaway
Two pensioners are in hospital after being hit by a van outside a pizza takeaway shop in Aberdeen.
Emergency services were called to the scene outside the Dominos branch near Lang Stracht in the Mastrick area of the city.
Police cordoned off the area surrounding the takeaway, and enquiries into the incident are currently ongoing.

The injured men, aged 68 and 71, were taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment. No other people were injured in the crash.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 12.40pm on Wednesday, 25 September, 2024, we were called to a report of a van crashing into two male pedestrians on Summerhill Court, Aberdeen.
"Emergency services attended and the pedestrians, aged 71 and 68, were taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.
"There are no other reported injuries. Enquiries are ongoing."
