Two hospitalised after emergency crews called to Glasgow property over 'hazardous substance'
A man and woman have been charged after a 'potentially hazardous substance' was found within a property in Glasgow.
Police, fire crews and ambulance were called to Newington Street in Glasgow at around 12.40am on November 10 after reports of a man having taken unwell, believed to be as a result of a potentially hazardous substance.
Speaking to Glasgow Live, a concerned local said they saw "at least six ambulances, two police and a fire engine".
The 44-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman were assessed by the Scottish Ambulance Service.

A further two people also took unwell and were taken to hospital for treatment.
Police Scotland confirmed that the man and woman have both been charged in connection with the incident and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.40am on Sunday, 10 November, officers were called to a property on Newington Street, Glasgow, following a report of a man having taken unwell, believed to be as a result of a potentially hazardous substance.
“The 44-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman were checked over by the Scottish Ambulance Service.
“Two further people also took unwell and were taken to hospital for assessment.
“The man and the woman have been charged in connection with the incident and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
