Two injured after being attacked ‘by group of men’ in south east London

Two men were taken to hospital after being attacked by a “group of males” the Met Police has said.

Officers were called to an incident on Tower Bridge Road at apparoximately 2.08am on Sunday.

Upon arriving at the scene, they found two men, aged in their 20s, who were taken to hospital. Their injuries have since been deemed as non-life threatening.

A statement from the police read: “Initial enquiries suggest the pair were assaulted by a group of men who had left the area before police were called.

“Enquiries to establish the circumstances are ongoing and a crime scene remains in place.”

No arrests have been made at this stage.
