Two injured after 'car leaves road and comes to a stop in ditch' in Patrington

Two people were injured after a car left the road and came to a stop in a ditch in Patrington.

Emergency services were called to Station Road at around 3.30pm on Monday following reports of a collision involving one vehicle.

Two people were taken to hospital to be treated for injuries which thankfully are not thought to be serious.

A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: "Officers were called to attend Station Road in Patrington following a road traffic collision yesterday evening (Monday 21 October).

"We were called at approximately 3.30pm to reports that a car had left the road before coming to a stop in a ditch.

"Two people were taken to hospital to receive medical treatment for injuries which were not thought to be serious."
