Two men arrested following Glasgow city centre 'disturbance'

Two men have been arrested following reports of 'disorder' in the city centre.

Officers had been on a routine patrol on Gordon Street at around 5pm on Monday, May 27, when they came across the incident.

Two 37-year-old men were charged with a 'disorder offence'. No injuries were reported.

They are due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court at a later date. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 5pm on Monday, 27 May, 2024, officers on routine patrol came across a disturbance in Gordon Street, Glasgow. There were no reported injuries.

"Two men, both aged 37, were arrested and charged with a disorder offence. They are due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court at a later date."
