Two Italian men are today to be sentenced for raping a woman in a Soho nightclub.

Ferdinando Orlando, 25, and Lorenzo Costanzo, 26, carried out the attack in the maintenance room of the Toy Room club in Argyll Street, central London, in the early hours of February 26, 2017.

Police said CCTV captured the pair both kissing the victim and then walking the visibly drunk and unsteady 23-year-old into the room just minutes after meeting her in the club.

After raping her, the two men abandoned their victim in the club's female toilets before running outside to high-five each other and watch the attack back on a mobile phone.

The victim was in the toilets for more than an hour before being found in extreme pain by staff and helped home by a concerned couple. She was later taken to hospital where she required surgery.

During their trial the two men admitted watching the incident on the phone, but claimed they both had consensual sex with the victim.

Orlando later contacted police and flew back by appointment, where he was arrested. They were both found guilty of two counts of rape each following a trial.

They will be sentenced at Isleworth Crown Court later.
