Two named and charged after ketamine, cannabis and MDMA found in vans

Two men are due to appear in court, having been charged with a number of drug offences. Robert Evans and Parmajit Atwal are set to appear at North Somerset Magistrates' Court after a significant amount of class A and B drugs were seized in Somerset on Wednesday, October 16.

Drugs were found inside a van, which was stopped by officers on the M4 near Brentford, as well as from a van stored at a farm in Flax Bourton during a proactive police operation.

Atwal, 41, of Springvale Avenue, Walsall, has been charged with supply of ketamine and possessing with intent to supply ketamine.

Meanwhile, Evans, 58, of Heywood Terrace, Pill, North Somerset, has been charged with:

  • Possession with intent to supply MDMA (class A)

  • Possession with intent to supply ketamine (class B)

  • Possession with intent to supply amphetamine (class B)

  • Possession with intent to supply cannabis (class B)

  • Being concerned in the supply of cannabis

Both men are due in court today, Friday, October 18.
