The two Newcastle United changes Eddie Howe has been told to make and Anthony Gordon role
Newcastle United fans have given their verdicts on the three big decisions facing Eddie Howe for today's game with Brighton.
The Magpies head coach will have to make at least one change from the starting XI that drew with Everton last time out, with Kieran Trippier missing after picking up a hamstring strain at Goodison Park. However, with Alexander Isak back in contention following his recovery from a broken toe, Howe is likely to want to get the Swede involved straight away.
We ask you to pick the Newcastle XI you want to see before each game, and it's perhaps no surprise to see fans recall Isak to the starting line-up, along with Tino Livramento at right-back.

Isak's return means Anthony Gordon can switch back to his favoured wing position, and fans have handed him with the left-sided role, switching Harvey Barnes to the right. Former Leicester man Barnes prefers to play on the left, but with Gordon such an important player, fans have made their call.
They are supported by a strong midfield of Sandro Tonali, Bruno Guimaraes and Joelinton, with Fabian Schar and Dan Burn the dependable centre-back duo in front of Nick Pope. Team news will land at 1.45pm today, with updates in our matchday live blog.
