Two people taken to hospital after Brockworth crash

Two people have been taken to hospital after a crash near Gloucester. Emergency services are at the scene of the two-vehicle crash on the A46 Painswick Road, at Brockworth, which has been closed following the collision.

Gloucestershire Police were called to the crash at about 12.20pm today (Wednesday, November 20). A spokesperson for the force said two people are being taken to hospital by paramedics.

The road is still closed in both direction while emergency services are at the scene. Traffic monitor Inrix reports: "A46 Painswick Road in both directions blocked, slow traffic due to accident between Cooper Hill turn off and Green Street."

Gloucestershire Police said: "We’re at the scene of a two-vehicle collision on the A46 Painswick Road near Brockworth which was reported to us at around 12.20pm today (Wednesday).

"The road is closed while emergency services are in attendance and two people are due to be taken to hospital by paramedics.
