Two in Royal Stoke after Staffordshire smash between motorbike and car

Two men have been taken to hospital following a smash between a motorbike and a car. Emergency services were called out to Rocester following reports of a collision.

Paramedics say the two men on the motorbike were taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital. The smash occurred at the junction of High Street and the B5030 at around 7.05pm on Saturday (June 8)

A spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of a motorcycle and a car in a road traffic collsion. An ambulance and a local community first responder attended.

"Two men from the motorbike were assessed. Both sustained injuries not thought to be life threatening and were treated at the scene before being conveyed to the Royal Stoke University Hospital as a precaution."
