Two Suspects Exchange Fire in Broad Daylight in Queens

Police released surveillance footage after two men opened fire in broad daylight on a street in Queens, New York, on April 19.

Video shows the moment the suspects exchanged gunfire at close range. The New York Police Department (NYPD) said the incident happened at around 12:30 pm on Linden Boulevard in the St Albans neighborhood.

According to the NYPD, one man fled the scene in a silver Honda Accord, before returning to retrieve belongings dropped during the shooting. A second man fled in a black Acura four-door sedan being driven by someone else, police said.

No one was injured in the shooting but the white SUV seen in the footage was damaged by gunfire, the NYPD said.
