Two teenagers found dead at the bottom of cliffs in Saltburn have been named by police as Harry Watson and Alex Yeoman.
The 17-year-olds were discovered at Huntcliff in Cleveland on Friday evening and police are still investigating what led to their deaths.
Both boys are from the east Cleveland area.
Alex's family described him as a "loving son" who would be sadly missed.
Harry's family said he was "precious" and his mother Tanya said on Facebook that the family "don't have many answers but Harry is one of the gifts in life always there for everyone and anyone".
She added: "He will always live in our hearts and we will get through this as the strong family that we are because that's what Harry would have wanted."
Specialist police officers are supporting both families and flowers have been left at the bottom of the steps to Huntcliff in memory of the boys.
Police said the deaths of Alex and Harry are not being treated as suspicious at this time but any witnesses who were in the area of the Circle Sculpture at Huntcliff on Friday evening should contact Detective Sergeant Paul Hodgson from Cleveland Police Major Crime Team on 101.
