Tyler confronts Piper for ruining his defence

Tyler is furious in the aftermath of Piper's video painting him as a violent offender – his defence is ruined. Seeing her daughter in anguish, Terese tries to reason with Tim Collins, who agrees to pull the West Waratah Star story in exchange for an exclusive interview with Piper straight after the trial.

When Piper shares the good news with Tyler and Aaron, Tyler is apprehensive – and his fears are confirmed when it becomes clear that the public may not be so quick to forget. Fuelled by frustration, Tyler confronts Piper for making everything worse.

Meanwhile, Aaron tries to win David back, but David admits they really know nothing about each other and should never have jumped into a relationship. Aaron is gutted and frustrated with himself for ruining things with the man he loves. Completely vulnerable, Rory takes the opportunity to kiss him.

Elsewhere, Sonya receives a devastating phone call from Jade in the States – her half-sister Zoe has cancer again and will soon start chemo treatment. After an emotional farewell, Sonya and Nell leave Ramsay Street, headed for the US.
