Typhoon Hato Downs Trees and Blows Debris in Guangdong, China

Trees were downed in the cities of Zhongshan and Zhuhai as Typhoon Hato made landfall in Guangdong, southeast China, on August 23, after bringing wild winds and rain to Hong Kong.

The China Meteorological Agency issued a red warning ahead of the typhoon’s landfall on the mainland.
