Tyra Banks Recreates That Iconic Beyoncé Interview with Herself

More than a decade ago, Tyra Banks conducted her most memorable interview ever on The Tyra Banks Show. In 2008, the supermodel sat across from Beyoncé and asked her questions using word play inspired after the Grammy Award-winner’s name and aliases. “Y’all ready for a different interview with Beyoncé?” Tyra asked asked the audience.

And so, began the iconic daytime TV conversation that made the Lemonade singer laugh more than once. Viewers may remember hearing Buy-oncé, Seance-oncé, Brie-oncé, Slosh-a Fierce, among many other variations.

Now, ahead of Tyra’s exciting new venture, the opening of her beauty theme park, ModelLand, she teamed up with Good Housekeeping to recreate the famous interview with none other than herself.

“French fry-ra, what is your favorite French fry shape?” she asked herself to which she responded, “This is the deepest question I’ve ever had in my entire life. My favorite French fry shape would have to be a seasoned curly fry.”

And the Life-Size star wasn’t afraid to get specific with her answers either. “Pie-ra, what is your favorite kind of pie?” Tyra asked herself.

“My favorite kind of pie is pecan pie. I love pecan pie and I love it, like the dry kind that’s not too juicy,” she explained. “I like it dense and dry.”
