U.S. imposes sanctions on two members of Guatemalan Congress

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States on Wednesday barred two current and former members of Guatemala's Congress from traveling to the United States, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said in a statement, accusing them of being involved in significant corruption.

The action targeted first secretary in the Congress of the Republic of Guatemala, Felipe Alejos Lorenzana, and former deputy Delia Bac.
