Manchester City are favourites to win the 2017-18 Champions League, with a tough last-16 draw leaving Chelsea and Tottenham as outsiders to lift the famous trophy

City's reward for finishing top of their group was a favourable round of 16 draw against Swiss side FC Basel, and Pep Guardiola's dominance of the Premier League title race sees City priced by Betfair as 16/5 favourites to win their first ever Champions League trophy this year.

Premier League rivals Manchester United and Liverpool will both be content after drawing Sevilla and Porto respectively, with the north-west clubs both priced behind the likes of Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona and Real Madrid at 14/1.

But there was bad news for London rivals Tottenham and Chelsea, with Spurs receiving a questionable reward for finishing top of their group by being drawn against last season's finalists Juventus.

As for Chelsea, their failure to secure top spot in their final group game against Atletico Madrid sees Antonio Conte's men left with a tough test against Lionel Messi and Barcelona.

The London duo are both priced at 25/1 to win the trophy - not exactly great odds, but intriguing given Spurs' scintillating form against Real Madrid and Chelsea triumphing back in 2012 despite being below their best.
