While the script in UFC is still to be written for 2022, there are some early key dates to look out for inside the octagon.
The first fight night of the year will see Calvin Kattar and Gig Chikadze clash in a featherweight battle on Saturday January 15 with the chief support act coming from Muslim Salikhov and Michael Pereira.
Elsewhere on the card, there are flyweight, lightweight and bantamweight bouts between Kleydson Rodrigues and Zarruk Adashev, Dakota Bush and Viacheslav Borshchev and Brian Kelleher and Saidyokub Kahramanov respectively.
One week later (Saturday January 22), it’s the first main event of the year, UFC 270. Heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou will square off against Ciryl Gane in a hotly-anticipated bout for the title, with a flyweight title bout between champion Brandon Moreno and Deiveson Figueiredo the main support.
