UFC legend Nate Diaz meets fans in Newcastle and grabs a Greggs ahead of boxing event
UFC legend Nate Diaz has been meeting fans in Newcastle city centre and grabbing himself a Greggs ahead of a boxing event on Saturday. Diaz, 39, spent over 15 years in the UFC, even picking up a win against Conor McGregor in 2016.
In the video, Diaz is seen taking pictures with fans, and explains that 'one of his boys, Chris Avila, is fighting on Saturday, so he's here for support.' The video, provided by The Boxing Space on X, then shows the American waiting in the queue for a Greggs, deciding on a Vegan Sausage Roll.
Nate Diaz worked his way up the rankings in the UFC, culminating in wins against the aforementioned Conor McGregor, as well as other former champions like Anthony Pettis and Tony Ferguson. Since his last MMA fight in 2022, Diaz has made the move into boxing, taking on influencer Jake Paul and fellow former UFC fighter Jorge Masvidal.
