UFC star in Glasgow for Celtic vs Rangers hails 'unbelievable atmosphere' at Hampden Park

An Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) star has hailed Glasgow's Hampden Park, saying the stadium had an "unbelievable atmosphere" during Saturday afternoon's clash between Celtic and Rangers.

Brendan Rodgers and Philippe Clement's men went head to head in the Scottish Cup Final which saw the Hoops beat their rivals 1-0 -for the first time in 22 years.

Among the thousands of fans cheering for their team to succeed was professional mixed martial artist Paddy 'The Baddy' Pimblett.

Known for competing in the Lightweight division in the UFC, he swapped the ring for a football pitch as he revelled in the Old Firm.

Sharing a picture alongside pals on social media, he wrote: "The Old Firm derby is a game I’ve always wanted to go to, even more special at Hampden park in the Scottish Cup Final.

"Unbelievable atmosphere... puts most prem grounds to shame, that Celtic end was bouncing."
