“Non-human spacecraft” and the bodies of “pilots” have been recovered by the US government for decades, a former intelligence officer has claimed.

Whistleblower David Charles Grusch, 36, has said the intelligence community has engaged in a “sophisticated disinformation campaign” to hide the discovery of fragments of and whole vehicles.

Mr Grusch previously worked for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) and the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO).

At the latter he was the representative to the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force, before becoming the NGA’s co-lead for UAP analysis between 2021 and 2022.

Asked whether intelligence agencies ever came across the bodies of these extra-terrestrial species, he told NewsNation: “When you recover something that’s either landed or crashed, sometimes you encounter dead pilots. And believe it or not, as fantastical as that sounds, it’s true.”

Mr Grusch said: “We are definitely not alone, absolutely the data points empirically we’re not alone.”

He added: “The UAP taskforce was refused access to a broad crash retrieval programme… [which means] retrieving non-human origin technical vehicles, call it spacecraft if you will, non-human, exotic origin vehicles that have either landed or crashed.”

He said intelligence agencies have discovered “quite a number” of non-human spacecrafts.

“I thought it was totally nuts, I thought at first I was being deceived, it was a ruse”, he said.

He added: “Plenty of current, former senior intelligence officers.... they provided documents and other proof that there was in fact a program that the UAP task force was not read into.”

The veteran, who served in Afghanistan, told The Debrief materials discovered were “of exotic origin (non-human intelligence, whether extraterrestrial or unknown origin) based on the vehicle morphologies and material science testing and the possession of unique atomic arrangements and radiological signatures.”

Mr Grusch, who stepped down from Government on 7 April 2023, has reportedly filed a complaint saying he suffered illegal retaliation for disclosing information about the discoveries to Congress and the Intelligence Community Inspector General.

An unclassified version of the 2022 complaint states that the evidence of extraterrestrial tech was withheld from congress in order to “purposely and intentionally thwart legitimate Congressional oversight of the UAP Program.”

Mr Grusch has not seen the alleged material himself.

“We are not talking about prosaic origins or identities,” Mr Grusch said, referencing information he provided Congress and the current ICIG. “The material includes intact and partially intact vehicles.”

Senior officials have spoken out to vouch for Mr Grusch and his claims.

Karl Nell, a retired Army colonel who was also on the UFO task force, described him as “beyond reproach”.

Jonathan Grey, a generational officer of the United States Intelligence Community who currently works for the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC), said: “The non-human intelligence phenomenon is real. We are not alone,” Mr Grey added: “Retrievals of this kind are not limited to the United States. This is a global phenomenon, and yet a global solution continues to elude us.”

Mr Grusch said he was speaking “at great personal risk and obviously professional risk.”

Last week Dr Sean Kirkpatrick, head of the Pentagon’s UFO task force  – known as the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) had received 800 reported sightings, up from 650 when he gave evidence to Congress last month.

Sue Gough, Department of Defence spokesperson: “To date, AARO has not discovered any verifiable information to substantiate claims that any programs regarding the possession or reverse-engineering of extraterrestrial materials have existed in the past or exist currently.”
