The UK beach so 'gorgeous' people 'can't believe' it's in the country
A 'gorgeous' beach in Cornwall has been hailed as one of the country's finest, according to a TikTok user. June, who goes by the handle @wnmano on the platform, was full of praise for Porthcurno Beach following her visit during the summer.
Nestled between Cornwall's dramatic cliffs, Porthcurno Beach is a slice of paradise, with its white sands and stunningly clear turquoise waters. In a post that captured the beauty of the site, June excitedly shared: "Cannot believe this is the UK, water was so clear!!"
June's TikTok video has gone viral with over 315,600 views and 40,400 likes, reports Cornwall Live. The comment section was flooded with users expressing their amazement that such a beautiful spot could be found in the UK.

RK commented: "Seen two cornwall beach tiktoks in 4 minutes so I'm taking this as a sign," and A+C asked: "How is that in the same country as Bradford."
The impressive reputation of Porthcurno Beach isn't just limited to social media. It secured a spot among Tripadvisor's Travellers Choice Awards in 2024, not to mention a flawless five-star rating from visitors on the travel website.
Among the voices affirming its reputation was Hayley, who was captivated by the destination: "Just stunning. One of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. First time at Porthcurno and will definitely be returning. Just hope it doesn't rain this time."
Holly Munn penned: "A must do on your trip to Cornwall. Parking is difficult so plan ahead. The sea positively sparkles in the sunlight. It's one of the most picturesque spots on the island."
Lainey posted: "Spent the day here, it's just like being abroad, clear blue skies, water, perfect sandy beach and so peaceful. No arcades, no boats, no noise, just gorgeous. There is a little snack van in the car park and a nice little café beside the car park but is probably best to take your own snacks. Lifeguard is on duty in the bay. It is worth the trek down to the beach from the car park."
Merely a stone's throw away from the beach, you'll stumble upon the historic Minack Theatre, which is an absolute gem for anyone visiting Cornwall. Visitors can delight in a casual stroll through the site as well as its garden, brimming with both tropical and exotic flora.
Moreover, Porthcurno Beach sits at the start of the Porthcurno circular walk. According to the National Trust, the walk is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy sweeping views across the ocean, World War Two fortifications and other notable landmarks.
And if hunger strikes while at Porthcurno Beach, fear not, for just a brief jaunt up the road lies the Porthcurno Beach Café. Here, one can savour quintessential Cornish pasties, flatbread pizzas, fresh sandwiches, and indulge in a proper Cornish Cream Tea complete with locally baked scones, rich clotted cream, strawberry jam and a cosy pot of tea.
