UK’s biggest Ford celebration is taking place in Leicestershire this weekend
This weekend's FordFest at Mallory Park promises to be the UK's biggest celebration of one of the world's favourite car manufacturers. The 2024 festival will be held on Sunday (September 22) at the racecourse near Hinckley, with thousands of car lovers from around the country expected to flock to the site to camp and enjoy a range of events.
Throughout the day there will be track sessions with tickets costing £10 if you want to have a go in the passenger seats of one of the vehicles. Stunt driver Paul Swift will be performing alongside Fusion, a BMX stunt display crew, in the Live Arena.
The 'Classic Ford' and 'Fast Ford' magazine paddocks will have their own displays. There will also be a private Autojumble and Cars for Sale area, and displays from the UK’s Ford clubs, including regional groups such as Bedfordshire RSOC, Midlands Old School Ford, Northants Ovals and Performance Ford Northwest.

The organisers said: "FordFest brings together Fords of all eras – classic, modern and modified – for a one-day family festival. Whether you’re a fan of pristine retro icons or track-ready monsters, FordFest 2024 will feature the best examples in the Ford scene with head turning static displays and fantastic live action.
"Among the Fords on offer will be the ‘Battle of the Coupes’, marking the 60th anniversary of the Mustang and 55 years of the Capri, and the ‘Ford Hot Hatch Icons’ which celebrates the 40th anniversary of the Escort RS Turbo."
The Saturday night camping is on offer to all visitors with pitches costing £30, which allows two adults and up to three children. There’s an open mic night to entertain campers on Saturday evening and a fairground and other children’s entertainment on Sunday.
Doors open at 10am and tickets are now on sale online. Adult tickets are £25 in advance, or £32 on the door, and include a free show guide edition of Fast Ford magazine. Tickets for children aged 14 years and under are £5.
