Boris Johnson has said the Government could have done things differently during the coronavirus pandemic.

Speaking to BBC news, the Prime Minister told Laura Kuennsberg that "very open questions" remain over whether the UK locked down too late.

It comes as the coronavirus death toll in the UK jumped by 123 on Friday.

In other news, Transport for London has been forced to ask the Government for another major bailout today as the network stricken by the Covid crisis faces a potential funding black hole of up to £5 billion.
