UK faces being plunged into -2C snow blast from Arctic next weekend
The UK faces being PLUNGED into a -2C snow blast within days, according to weather maps and charts. WX Charts, which uses Met Desk data, shows the country turning an icy blue hue as a downturn in conditions is feared across the country.
One November 3, there is the potential for snow over higher ground in Scotland with -2C lows. The weather map reveals large areas of the UK covered in icy blue tones, with the projections showing northern England and Scotland being hit hardest.
The Arctic air is set to sweep during the early days of November, the penultimate month of the year. It comes after James Madden, from Exacta Weather, signified a downturn in conditions was likely with weather deteriorating towards the end of October.

He said: "Importantly, the second date we covered in our 100+ day ahead autumn report and for which we also recently revealed in multiple detailed postings for another October stormy period in the links below, and which is likely to follow on from this several-day warm to hot period for in and around October 27.
"This will be influenced in some shape or form from a major low-pressure area or storm system via the remnants of the recent Hurricane Milton and should also contain something of a wintry flavour to it as colder conditions also infiltrate from the north."
The Met Office forecast for Friday (October 25) explains: "A weakening band of rain moving north and east across England and Wales with low cloud and mist ahead of it. Patchy rain across Northern Ireland too. Some bright intervals and showers following. Mild, but windy across far southwest England.
"Rain slowly clears all but the far northwest. Mostly dry elsewhere with light winds and clear spells allowing patchy mist and fog to form, especially across central and eastern areas." Saturday looks to be "locally heavy rain moves east across northern areas. Drier further south with bright or sunny spells and a few showers, after early mist and fog clears."
