UK faces NEW snow blast after days of flurries with seven parts of England hit
A NEW Arctic blast has been forecast for the UK - after days of snowfall in the country. Britain is under the full force of an Atlantic weather shift currently, as we head through the winter and towards December's arrival, and with it, Christmas.
Now, it has emerged a fresh sub-zero blast could hammer the country - days after three days of snowfall in the UK. Maps from forecaster WXCharts show a likelihood of snow across much of the country by Friday November 22 and Saturday November 23.
The snow probabilities range from 30 per cent to 90 per cent in some areas, with some parts of Scotland facing up to 10cm. The Pennines, Greater Manchester, Cumbria, Northumberland, London, the south and Wales look set to be hit, as well as the Midlands.

Inverness, Aberdeen, Wick, Edinburgh, and surrounding areas are likely to be affected in Scotland. Newcastle, Manchester, the Pennines, and higher-altitude regions are anticipated to wake up to a dusting in the north of England.
In the Midlands and Wales, expect Birmingham, Cardiff, and nearby rural areas to be hammered. And in southern England there's a limited snow risk, with rain dominating in London and Southampton and Hampshire on the south coast.
The weather maps and charts have been projected by the Met Desk data which is used by WX Charts, Ventusky and also Netweather TV. The Met Office forecast for Thursday explains: "A chilly day for most on Thursday with sunshine and wintry showers in exposed areas. Cloudier in the southwest with some rain and hill snow possible. Rather breezy."
The outlook for Friday to Sunday adds: "Sunshine and wintry showers continue on Friday, with frost and ice overnight. Turning widely wet and windy on Saturday, with some hill snow initially, and blustery showers follow on Sunday."
