The UK ‘could be forced to accept 37 new EU laws after Brexit’
The UK could be forced to accept 37 European Union laws during the two-year transition period after Brexit, it has been reported.
Quoting a leaked government report, The Telegraph said EU directives could be imposed on Britain.
They include a requirement that every household in the UK has four different bins to meet European recycling targets.
Another law concerns clearing houses for euros that are based in the City of London being moved to the continent.
The Telegraph claims another directive would tie the UK up with energy efficiency targets for up to ten years after Brexit.
