British horror The Ritual has sensitively adapted its marketing following the tragic events in Las Vegas.
At least 58 people were killed and more than 500 injured when 64-year-old Stephen Paddock opened fire on a crowd at a country music festival near the Mandalay Bay Hotel on Sunday (October 1).
The Ritual follows four friends on the hiking trip from hell through a Scandinavian forest following the death of their friends, with the original trailer and marketing for the movie containing the tagline, "They should have gone to Vegas".
But now distributor eOne has sensitively changed the tagline in the ace horror's online marketing to, "They should have gone to Ibiza".
They haven't just picked some random place to replace Las Vegas either, as the characters are seen talking about going to Ibiza on a holiday, before they decide to honour their friend's memory by going on a hiking holiday instead.
Obviously, in classic horror tradition, that turns out to be a terrible mistake and brings them into contact with the best creature you'll see in cinemas this year.
The Ritual stars Rafe Spall, Arsher Ali, Robert James-Collier and Sam Troughton, and is based on the 2011 horror novel of the same name by Adam Nevill.
It creeps into UK cinemas on October 13 and is perfect viewing for an early Halloween treat.
