The UK has officially reported zero Covid deaths for the first time since March 2020. The country’s deadly Coronavirus spike has significantly decreased over the last few months, with the death toll falling to 753 people in April. More than 39 million people have been given the first dose of Covid vaccinations. The latest data comes as scientific advisors call on the government to delay plans to ease lockdown restrictions on June 21st, following the warnings of a third wave of infections of the Delta variant.
