UK PM Sunak Sells Remembrance Poppies at London Tube Station

UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak surprised commuters as he sold poppies, a symbol of remembrance and support for the armed forces community, at Westminster Tube Station during rush hour early on Thursday, November 3.

Sunak joined soldiers on London Poppy Day to help fundraise for the Royal British Legion ahead of Remembrance Sunday, local media reported.

Tory MP Andrew Stephenson tweeted: “Good to see the Prime Minister Rishi Sunak selling poppies for the Royal British Legion at Westminster Tube Station on my way into work this morning.”
