UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson Condemns 'Barbaric' Kabul Attack

United Kingdom Prime Minister Boris Johnson condemned the deadly attacks in Kabul on August 26, that claimed the lives of dozens of Afghans and at least 13 US service members.

In this footage, shared by Downing Street’s official Twitter account, the Prime Minister labelled the attack “barbaric” and offered condolences to “the United States of America and to the people of Afghanistan.”

Johnson went onto say that while the “overwhelming majority” of UK nationals and eligible Afghans had already been extracted, the attack in Kabul showed the importance of continuing the evacuation operation until the last moment. Credit: UK Prime Minister via Storyful
