The Metropolitan Police is being "monitored" over its recent performance, the independent inspectorate has confirmed. In a statement, Her Majesty's Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services (HMICFRS) said the move was to help support the Met Police to make "improvements".
