Ukraine can win against 'brutal' Russia, NATO hears

STORY: Commenting as he arrived for a second day of meetings with NATO's foreign ministers in Berlin, Mircea Geoana said the "brutal invasion of (by) Russia is losing momentum".

Formerly neutral Sweden and Finland are poised to join the alliance and their formal application for membership is expected within days.

However, Turkey has expressed concerns and Geonana stressed the importance of addressing those worries to reach a consensus.

Russia calls its action in Ukraine a "special military operation".
