Famed Porsche tuner RUF has unveiled its latest monster creation, the 750bhp CTR 3. It will hit 236mph and see off 0-62mph in an astonishing 3.2 seconds.
The enormous power output is extracted from a highly tuned 3.8-litre twin-turbo engine. That dwarfs the most powerful production Porsche 911, the 523bhp Turbo S.
The front end is relatively unchanged - despite its deep front bumper - over the 911 donor car, but the back has been completely redesigned to accommodate an engine shift. The CTR 3 is mid-engined, unlike the rear-engined 911.
The design of the back echoes the Porsche Carrera GT hypercar, and features quad tailpipes integrated into a black diffuser.
The brakes have been upgraded - they're huge, obviously - and the suspension has been tweaked, too. Power is fed through a racing car-derived six-speed sequential gearbox and a roll cage is integrated into the bodywork.
The interior is more open ended, as customers are able to specify a fully stripped racing atmosphere or a luxury quilted leather vibe.
Prices have yet to be confirmed but it's expected to come in at around £250,000.
