"Ultimate" true crime night out to thrill Ayrshire audience
Fans of true crime in Ayrshire are set to be enthralled by an evening of entertainment investigating staged murders.
Murder: Staged is coming to Ayr’s Gaiety Theatre on Friday, January 31, as part of its UK tour.
Psychologist and psychopathy expert Cheish Merryweather, as seen and heard on the BBC, will be uncovering the phenomenon of staged murders with her latest true crime talk.

The two-hour talk will include in-depth forensics, reconstructed real-life crime scene walk-throughs and a deep dive into cases that have not been seen on stage live before as well as a live psychopath test on the night to test Ayrshire’s psychopathy levels.
Founder of Crime Viral, Cheish, is best known for her sell-out talks which include How To Raise A Serial Killer, How To Spot A Psychopath and Inside The Mind Of A Serial Killer.
Cheish said: “The ‘CSI effect’ has created a new type of killer – one that is forensically aware and is out to mislead an investigation.
“Murder: Staged will explore the lies embedded in crime scenes and share the expertise from those who dig deep for the truth.”
“There will also be a live psychopath test which will be a good indication of who we really should be keeping a close eye on.”
“Scotland is my favourite place to put on these true crime shows. We have sold out success most nights as it seems the darker side of human nature definitely appeals to many in the Highlands. I really can’t wait to be back with this new show which is guaranteed to be a fascinating night for all.”
Billed as “an unmissable evening for any true crime fan” and the "ultimate" true crime night out, tickets are on sale now.
