UN Makes Formal 'Crimes Against Humanity' Accusation in Report on Uyghur Muslims

The U.N. report concerning China's treatment of the Uyghur Muslim population in the province of Xinjiang was released on Aug. 31. The government of China has been accused of sending more than a million people to detention camps. Reports of a torture, sexual assault and cultural obliteration endemic in the camps have circulated for years.
