A real treat is in store for those after somewhere in the Kent countryside with all the cosiness and class of a five-star hideaway with deep furry-feel blankets and even a wood-fired hot tub. And this rather special place in west Kent has just been revealed as a winner in the Camping and Glamping Awards 2024 by website Campsites.co.uk.
Luna Domes at Hoath House in Chiddingstone Hoath, near Edenbridge, has won the best glamping site in the south east with organisers saying the "luxury glamping domes offer five-star hotel interiors, with the added touch of your own wood-fired hot tub and panoramic countryside views, taking glamping to the next level". Tripadvisor has the full five stars from 68 reviews of Luna Domes.
One recent glamper said: "Wow! What an incredible luxurious way to celebrate my husband turning 40 with the whole family, two children and a small dog. From the moment we pulled up to the moment we left we were all full of smiles."
They added: "I pre-ordered the meat and cheese bundle for our relaxing evening by the warm fire. We then woke up to a lovely pre-ordered salmon breakfast bundle all finely selected from local supplies. Even our dog was treated with a box of goodies which was a nice surprise. We honestly cannot fault this unique experience, modern décor, clean and echo friendly. We will definitely stay again."

Getaway gem Luna Domes has an impressive 4.89-star rating on Campsites.co.uk, with 93 per cent recommending it as a place to stay. One person wrote: "The location was idyllic and the accommodation was excellent." And another: “It was one of the best breaks we've had. I would go back anytime."
The annual awards highlight the best camping, glamping and touring sites across the UK, celebrating those places who go "above and beyond for their guests". From stunning off-grid camping spots to fun-filled holiday parks and luxury glamping sites with hot tubs and hotel-style interiors – "there's an outdoorsy holiday to suit everyone", said organisers.
