Naughty Dog is saying goodbye to the Uncharted series without the help of Nathan Drake, but maybe that's for the best; Uncharted 4 was a stellar game and a fitting send off.
Now it's Chloe Frazer's turn to shine in this large-scale expansion for A Thief's End. It'll be interesting to see how her wit and less-than-heroic qualities perform in the spotlight.
The Lost Legacy takes place six months after the events of Uncharted 4, and will follow Chloe and Nadine Ross as they hunt down an ancient artefact known as the Tusk of Ganesh.
Can't stem your curiosity? You're in luck. We've collected everything you need to know about the expansion before it arrives later this year.
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy trailers - how's it looking?
The first trailer for The Lost Legacy debuted at PSX last year. No pre-rendered CGI tricks here – Naughty Dog is rightfully confident of how beautiful its games look, so it treated us to a 10-minute slice of gameplay.
More recently, a shorter trailer was made available in conjunction with the announcement of the release date . This gives a slightly more intimate look at Nadine and Chloe's rapport as they discuss their plans aboard a riverboat.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy gameplay - what will I be doing?
Expect the usual combat and puzzling, and set pieces of previous Uncharted instalments, but with a few key differences.
Firstly, Naughty Dog say that the game's environments will be more "open" than in previous games. The expansion will include the biggest single environment ever featured in an Uncharted game.
It's also been suggested that The Lost Legacy will be "tonally different" to A Thief's End. What that means precisely remains unclear.
"When we began to plot out the story and our vision for the game, we realized we were building something more than an extension of Uncharted 4, and instead, a standalone story in the Uncharted universe. We wanted this adventure to feature all of the hallmarks of the series, from cinematic storytelling set within exotic destinations, to dynamic combat and intricate puzzles. said Naughty Dog on its blog.
An important note about The Lost Legacy is its probable length. Naughty Dog has stated that the expansion will be longer than the Left Behind DLC of The Last of Us, and even hinted that it could last ten hours or more.
