The Undateables delivers yet another celeb lookalike

The Undateables has a habit of finding celebrity lookalikes, and today (January 15) was no different.

We've seen dead-ringers for Liam Payne and Peter Andre, but this evening's episode gave us a lookalike from the world of sport – and pretty much everyone on Twitter noticed.

Fans absolutely loved Undateables hopeful Nisar, who has trouble getting to the end of dates because of his stammer...

But they were distracted by his uncanny resemblance to a certain big-name footballer.

Yes, it turns out 22-year-old trainee accountant Nisar is Liverpool player Mohamed Salah's doppelgänger. Until he got all of his lovely hair cut off, that is.

In case people online actually agreeing on something (for once) can't convince you, then how about a pic of Mo Salah himself as a comparison?

Yep, that's pretty uncanny. As far as TV lookalikes go, anyway.

Unfortunately for Bollywood-loving Nisar, it wasn't exactly a happy ending for him and his date, who saw him as friend material rather than boyfriend material.

We reckon there's an orderly queue of Liverpool fans eager for a shot at a date, though.

The Undateables airs on Channel 4.
