According to findings from Dubai Tours and Tickets, the Southeastern European nation of Albania is now one of the hottest destinations for UK holidaymakers.
Experts in travel have sifted through Google search data for 250 nations to check out where Britons are eager to explore within the last year. They assessed seven well-known search terms like "holidays," "flights," and "trips".
Albania has been piquing interest with an average of 54,929 monthly searches with the term "Holiday Albania" being responsible for 37,583 of these inquiries every month, surpassing stalwarts such as Spain, Portugal, and Iceland.
The surge in Albania's popularity doesn't really come as a shock.

A pint can cost somewhere between £1.07 and £2.10, a cuppa coffee approximately £1.50, and the grocery bill is generally about 40% less costly than in the UK, reports the Express.
Besides its appealing price range, Albania is adorned with mesmerizing landscapes, glittering shorelines, and secluded bays just right for some downtime under the sun.
With flights jetting off to Albania daily from key UK airports, this gem is only three hours away by air. So why not consider it for your next getaway?

Ksamil, nestled along the Albanian Riviera, is becoming a hot topic among social media influencers, many of whom are touting it as Europe's equivalent to the Maldives, thanks to its soaring popularity online suggesting travellers should visit swiftly before it rivals Maldives' popularity stakes.
