Union J stars Josh Cuthbert and JJ Hamblett pay tribute to bandmate's fiance after shock death
Union J stars Josh Cuthbert and JJ Hamblett are heartbroken by the shock death of their bandmate Jaymi Hensley's fiance Oliver Marmon.
The 33-year-old, who was gearing up to marry the Union J singer next month, passed away on Sunday after falling from a third-floor hotel window in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.
Reacting to the tragedy, Jaymi's bandmate Josh wrote on Instagram, "I have no words for how tragic this is, absolutely heartbreaking. Olly, you were kind, pure and loving. We were all so incredibly lucky to have known you. You were one of a kind and one of life's good people. Your life has been cut way too soon, as has your love story with Jaymi. Rest in peace my friend."
His bandmate JJ followed suit, writing, "I can hardly believe I'm writing this. RIP Olly. You were such a dear friend, and I feel so lucky to have known you for the past 13 years, sharing so many amazing memories together. Your beautiful and kind soul will always have a special place in my heart."
Jaymi, 34, was due to marry Oliver on their 15th anniversary on 24 September. He has yet to comment publicly on his death.
Police officers initially investigated the death as a homicide but the probe was closed following the results of a preliminary forensic post-mortem on Tuesday. Northamptonshire Police said a 34-year-old man arrested in connection with the incident was released without charge.
Union J, which also featured George Shelley, are best known for competing on The X Factor in 2012.
