University laboratory explodes in eastern China, killing 2 and injuring 9

A university laboratory exploded, killing two and injuring nine in eastern China. Video captured in the city of Nanjing in Jiangsu Province on October 24 shows a ball fire suddenly bursting out of a building as several students were trying to extinguish the flames. Another clip shows a plume of smoke rising into the air. According to reports, there were three explosions. Eleven injured students were sent to hospital for treatment but two of them were passed away. The case is under investigation. The video was provided by local media with permission.
