University Volunteer Documents COVID Testing Regime in Xi'an as City Remains in Lockdown

Regimented COVID-19 testing continued across Xi’an, China, on Tuesday, January 4, as the city entered its thirteenth day of lockdown.

Footage filmed by a volunteer with Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology’s emergency response command team, who said it was taken early in the morning on Tuesday, shows the nucleic acid testing process on campus.

The government of Shaanxi province said 4,988,100 people were tested by noon on Tuesday after a total of 1,758 confirmed cases were reported between December 9 and January 3.
