Unlikely hip-hop act knocks Taylor Swift off US no.1
In sweet Tuesday news, Taylor Swift's record-breaking 'Look What You Made Me Do' has been knocked off the no. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 – by a relatively unknown female rapper called Cardi B.
The new chart-topper, who rose to fame on reality TV show Love & Hip Hop: New York, has had 88 million streams on Spotify alone with her track 'Bodak Yellow'.
It also means that she's the first female rapper to get to number one in the charts without the assistance of any other artists since Lauryn Hill's 'Doo Wop (That Thing)' in 1998.

Fellow rapper (and New Yorker) Nicki Minaj seemed particularly thrilled by Cardi's achievement.
The 'Super Bass' star wrote on Twitter: "Congratulations to a fellow NEW YAWKA on a RECORD BREAKING achievement. Bardi, this is the only thing that matters!!! Enjoy it."
