Unpiloted Dragon Cargo Ship Lands on International Space Station

An unpiloted Dragon cargo vehicle arrived at the International Space Center (ISS) on August 16, bringing more than three tons of supplies and scientific materials.

The cargo ship launched on August 14 atop SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket. It was met by Expedition 52 crewmembers Jack Fischer of NASA and Paolo Nespoli of the European Space Agency who operated the ISS’s Canadarm2 robotic arm to capture the ship. Dragon will spend about a month attached to the Earth-facing port of the Harmony module. Credit: NASA via Storyful
