Katie Price fell victim to online trolls who mocked her appearance on the red carpet at the annual ITV Gala.

The former glamour model stepped out for the star studded bash days after suffering a “medical emergency” following a dental procedure in Turkey.

Price showed off her “new smile” in an Instagram snap of her and her “lovely friend”.

But she was targeted by trolls who compared her to plastic surgery addict Jocelyn Wildenstein.

One user commented: “The bride of Wildenstein comes to mind!”

Another wrote: “You are well on the way to being the next Jocelyn Wildenstein if you don't stop soon.....”

A third posted: “It’s so sad, her eyes look like cats eyes now.”

Others expressed concern for the mother-of-five who shocked fans earlier in the day during an appearance on Loose Women.

One wrote: “Was worried for you today you looked so ill on Loose Women take care of yourself (sic).”

Another posted: “So much for women empowering other women. Her face ... Her life ! I think she looks amazing, she has the money... Let her spend it on what the hell she wants.”

Price explained that she was left “really ill” after flying to Turkey to get new veneers as she had unknowingly been taking penicillin, which she is allergic to.

Speaking on Loose Women she said: “I know I have cosmetic procedures, but this is the only one ever I do need because when I was young I fell off a skateboard and cracked all my front teeth.

“Last week I was due on the show but on my way I felt really ill and I realised I was taking penicillin and I’m allergic.”

It comes days after she told Piers Morgan to “shut up” after he mocked her appearance during a chat on Good Morning Britain ahead of her flight to Turkey.
