'Unwanted' three-legged dog has spent three years in rescue waiting for new home
An urgent appeal has been launched for an 'unwanted' dog who has been waiting more than three years for her forever home. Frida was taken into care by Miracle's Mission back in the summer of 2021, but sadly, she hasn't had even one rehoming application in all that time.
Despite repeated efforts on social media to find her a loving owner, she is still waiting for someone to come forward for her. However, the spirited staff at the rescue are not losing hope and have once more turned to Facebook to share Frida's plight with prospective adopters.
The appeal reads: "Frida has been on our adoption list for 3.5 years and we have not had a single message about her. She suffered a road accident and was left with a spinal injury. She is tri-pawed and also had her tail amputated. She is incontinent and will need bladder expression."

Currently at a sanctuary in Bosnia, this sweet-natured girl is ready to travel to a forever home in the UK. The additional details about Frida said: "She is dog and cat friendly. Frida makes friends with everyone she meets and her rescuers say that she is the most wonderful and easy dog to have around."
People were quick to share their hopes for Frida. One social media user responded to the post, saying: "I pray she will find a wonderful owner and home. Bless her." Another added: "Good luck girly in finding your forever people."
A third user chimed in with: "Fabulous Frida! Please care, share, tweet, donate, foster or adopt her and she will make your house a home. Rescues step up also to help. Her precious life matters, Thank You." Another user commented: "Oh sweetheart, what a lot to go through. May she find the most perfect forever home." The final comment read: "Beautiful. She needs lots of hugging and spoiling."
Miracle’s Mission is a UK-registered animal welfare charity operating mainly in the UK, Borneo and Egypt. Their mission statement reads: "Our mission is to provide a place of safety for animals in danger, to educate on the needs of neutering both pets and strays and to neuter stray dogs and cats to prevent the birth of more animals onto the streets.
"We also rehabilitate and rehome dogs in need, often with disabilities, from our UK rescue base." If you’re interested in giving Frida a new home, please contact Miracle’s Mission at info@miraclesmission.org. To support the charity, visit their website at www.miraclesmission.org.
