Urgent appeal launched to find missing man, 62

UPDATE - Leicestershire Police confirmed it had found Donald on the evening of Friday, November 8. The force thanked everyone who shared its appeal.

An urgent search is underway for a Leicestershire man who has been reported missing. Donald Travis has not been seen since early this morning (Friday, November 8).

Donald, who is 62, was last seen at around 9am today when he was in the vicinity of Infirmary Square, near the Leicester Royal Infirmary. Concerns are growing for his welfare as he has no phone or access to money.

Leicestershire Police have released a description of Donald to help locate him. He is described as being 5ft 6 ins tall and of slim build. He has shoulder-length unkempt hair and a beard. When he was last seen, Donald was wearing a dark navy coloured coat over a red hoodie, along with brown trousers and brown shoes.

Anyone who has seen Donald or knows his whereabouts should call Leicestershire Police on 101, quoting incident 131 of November 8. Alternatively, report information on the force's website.
