Urgent appeal to find missing Wolverhampton schoolgirl with links across region

An urgent appeal has been launched to find a missing schoolgirl from the Black Country, who has connections to Birmingham and Worcestershire. Anjali is 14 and has gone missing from Wolverhampton, with police ‘concerned for her welfare’.

The teenager is said to have links with Birmingham, Smethwick and Bromsgrove. Anjali is of Asian appearance who is described as being 5ft 1in tall, with dark brown shoulder length hair.

She was last seen dressed in black, wearing a shirt with ‘Baby Girl’ written on the back. Members of the public are being asked to help officers track down the teenager and if they spot here they are urged to call 999 immediately.

In issuing its missing appeal, a spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “Have you seen Anjali? The 14-year-old has gone missing from #Wolverhampton and we are concerned for her welfare.

“Anjali, who has links to Birmingham, Smethwick and Bromsgrove, is described as 5ft 1in tall, with dark brown shoulder length hair. She was last seen wearing a black skirt, black tights and a black shirt with the words 'Baby Girl' written in large font on the back.

“If you see Anjali, call 999 immediately quoting PID number 410546.”
