Urgent appeal to find school children missing from home
UPDATE - Sophie has been located safe and well. Enquiries are still ongoing to trace Kieran.
An urgent appeal has been made to find two school children. Merseyside Police said Kieran Kaid, 16, and Sophie Stevens, 14, both from south Liverpool, are believed to be together and have been missing since yesterday, Thursday September 12.
Kieran is described as being around 6ft tall, has a slim build and short dark hair. Sophie is described as being around 5ft 2in tall, with a slim build and blonde hair. When they were last seen, they were both wearing their school uniform.
They both have links to other parts of Liverpool and Runcorn. Kieran also has links to Manchester city centre and Poynton in Cheshire. Anyone who sees Kieran or Sophie have been urged to contact Merseyside Police so the force can make sure they are safe and well.
